Job Description

We are looking for Control Engineer with significant proficiency in PLC, HMI, SCADA and Drive programming of different manufacturers like Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, GE, Schneider and Bosch. Must be a team player. Experience working with vendors and offshore teams. Efficient in SDLC and CGP documentation. Able to conduct factory and site acceptance Test. Great communication skills.  Experience in Installation & Commissioning of PLC systems. This position requires travel to offshore locations and may involve extended stays of up to 45 days.

Responsibilities:

• Design and program PLCs for offshore operations
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs in the field (offshore operation)
• Collaborate with offshore personnel to identify and resolve programming issues
• Assist with training of offshore personnel on PLC programming and maintenance
• Implement and maintain control system architecture for offshore systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming and control systems design
• Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, GE, Schneider, and Bosch PLCs
• Familiarity with HMI systems, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols
• Experience working with vendors and offshore teams
• Efficient in SDLC and CGP documentation
• Able to conduct factory and site acceptance tests
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Availability for travel to Brazil or other countries for up to 45 days at a time
• Good level of proficiency in the English language
• Experience in installation and commissioning of PLC systems
• Data logging and data processing experience

Desirable:

• BOSIET and CA-EBS OPITO training

This is a temporary position for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
