Electrical Technician
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our offshore team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for programming PLC, reviewing junction boxes according to electrical diagrams, and repairing low voltage electrical connections. This position requires travel to offshore locations and may involve extended stays of up to 45 days.
Responsibilities:
- Programming PLC (Siemens or Rockwell Automation) for various offshore equipment and machinery
- Reviewing junction boxes according to electrical diagrams and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Identifying and repairing low voltage electrical connections as required
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults and issues as needed
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technician Certification
- At least 6 month of relevant experience in a similar offshore environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including programming PLC and reviewing junction boxes
- Experience in repairing low voltage electrical connections
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability for travel to Brazil or other countries for up to 45 days at a time
- Good level of proficiency in the English language

- BOSIET and CA-EBS OPITO training
This is a temporary position for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
